Red Pepper Butternut Juice and day 8 of my cleanse! I can’t believe I’m actually over the halfway hump, and that it’s been this easy so far!
Morning Exercise: I had a very early morning shoot, so I didn’t make it to the gym or extra exercise, but it was a super active day for a very lively episode of Door to Door, so I think I’ll be fine.
Breakfast: Peach Orange Papaya Juice
Lunch: Peach and Greens Juice
Dinner: Red Pepper Butternut Juice
Snack: Broccoli Apple Juice
I feel: Very energized. I’m still waking up nice and early, feeling great. I felt great all day and I even brought my juicer with me on set, so while everyone else had burgers and hot dogs, I had some tasty green juice and felt nice and refreshed. I’m actually really enjoying experimenting with new juices and ingredients. Sometimes they’re not so great and I suck it up and drink them anyway, but for the most part they’ve actually tasted pretty good. I’ve even been juicing things that I never would’ve thought of juicing, like the garlic and the broccoli and the sweet potato. I really never imagined that things like sweet potatoes would actually yield so much juice. Also, I read that papaya was not easy to juice, but I didn’t find it difficult at all. The papaya I used yielded a generous amount of juice and it tasted fantastic.
Weight Lost: 1 lb. Hey! Maybe I’m not done losing weight after all!
